This is a Very Good, Used Condition children's book published by Ducks Unlimited in 2004. The book is titled "Raising Riley: A Kids First Lab Puppy" written by Doug Truax and Illustrated by Jack K. Smith. It tells the story of a boy who chooses his first puppy with his dad and the responsibilities he learns as he teaches and raises the lab puppy which someday they hope to use hunting ducks. The book was intended for around 4 to 12 year olds and is 32 pages in length. It is in full color with very nice illustrations and is a Hardcover. Ducks Unlimited the publisher of the book conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North American Waterfowl and the other wildlife and people that in turn benefit. DU was founded in 1937 and since then has raised over $2 billion for conserving over 11 million acres in all 50 states, each of the provinces of Canada and key areas of Mexico. Over 900 species of wildlife flourish on the wetlands they have conserved many of them threatened or endangered species. This is a very good book for the young reader who will learn about responsibility some from the book and then perhaps receive a puppy to learn and practice responsibility on.
